RECREATE THE STORY OF LORNA DOONE IN GLORIOUS EXMOOR SETTING THIS SUMMER

Re-enacting the story of the fabled bride Lorna Doone, who was shot by her jealous ex-lover while she was getting married at Oare Church on Exmoor, is just one of the experiences open to guests staying at the exclusive Oare Manor for a week during June or July.  Budding thespians could find themselves acting out one of the roles with a team of professional actors as they stage a performance of the classic historical novel in the exact location in which it was set by author, R D Blackmore.

Described as ‘a jewel set between the moor and the sea’, Oare Manor provides sumptuous self-catering accommodation for up to 16 guests, with housekeeper and butler on hand and a chef available with prior notice.
